Since Bible-believing Christians have the advantage over others to know certain Biblically predicted events to come, we must recognize that one of God’s reasons for letting us have that information is so we might prepare. Truly saved people in the end times will have a very important and unique opportunity to serve God. While some sincere and good people might consider preparing for judgment on America to be a lack of faith, it is actually acting upon faith. It is the faith in God’s Word that has revealed the Truth about the future. If taking basic preparations will be useful to God to keep us alive for a longer period of time, then we must use that time for the Lord effectively. In previous times of judgment, both Noah and Lot had to believe and act upon the information given to them. Refusal to do would have meant certain death—even though they both were saved men.
Preparing for judgment is much more than putting on a seat belt in case the car crashes. In this case, we KNOW that the car will crash—we just don’t know the exact time frame. So, if we prepare a little too early—it is much better than trying to prepare when it is too late, and various forms of dangers manifest themselves in America.
Our purpose in sharing these tips to you is so you will prayerfully consider what might occur in the USA, and what you can do to continue your ministry for the Lord.
At the time of this writing, the FBI is searching for almost 190 trained Arab terrorists within the borders of this country. It is unlikely that they will capture all of them. But, it is not unusual for terrorists who have a common goal (such as the destruction of the United States) to join with terrorists from other ethnic or political organizations to achieve it. So, whatever terrorists that remain uncaptured may join together (i.e., eventually, not all terrorists will appear Arab).
If there EVER is a time in a person’s life when they will seriously think about dying, about where they will spend eternity, about their need for God, this will be the time. If they still have ANY sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, this will be the time when they will be highly motivated to listen to your testimony.
Although enemies of the Gospel meant this terrorism for evil, God is giving us an amazing opportunity to reach people with the Word who have been shaken from their apathy. We MUST use this time effectively for God. The apathy will not last forever.
This requires us to spend time yielding to the Lord ourselves. We must have the right words, the right spirit, and the right motives. Most of all, we must have the right relationship with the Lord ourselves. After all, our time here on earth is limited, and soon we will stand before the Lord. Be sure that you are right with the Lord, above all else !
Next, we must not allow ourselves to be pulled into depression or fear of what happens next. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We must prepare for certain things which might occur so we can continue in our ministries. But we must not be obsessed with thoughts of judgment on America, but instead on the great opportunities we have of serving God NOW !
